Second IVF Cycle Day 1 Embryo Update

We’re on our second IVF cycle and have returned to the same clinic in the Czech Republic (we’re from the UK).

First cycle, we had 7 eggs collected and 6 fertilised. All 6 were still going on day 3 but we only have 1 blast by day 5, which sadly didn’t implant.

Second cycle, we’ve had 9 eggs collected and just heard that all 9 have fertilised 🥳

So hopeful. We took a 3 month break between cycles and both took lots of supplements and quit caffeine and alcohol. Hoping this is a sign that it has been worth it 🤞🏼

We have also added MFSS to this cycle.

Roll on Friday for the day 3 update and currently expecting to have a day 5 fresh transfer on Sunday

9 eggs collected

9 fertilised

4 made it to day 3 and I was worried but…

4 made it to day 5 🎉

1 transferred this morning and 3 on ice 🙌🏻
