Confused on my menstrual cycle

Hiiii,

Me and my husband have been TTC for a year and a half.

We had no issues conceiving my son 4 years ago. I now feel as if we are experiencing secondary infertility. My period has ALWAYS been on time. Always. Except this month- I tested religiously the first week and a half of missed period, they were all negative. Today I had light spotting, but that was it. Haven’t tested again. Is my period just finally trying to start? Just tired of over testing when it’s nothing hahaha
