Hello everyone!

I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and I am also a high school teacher. I have been thinking about maternity leave. Things like when to take off, when to come back, etc.

Are there any teachers here willing to share what they did and how it worked for them? Did you work all the way up to your due date or did you take off weeks before? How long did you take off for maternity leave- and did you feel like it was enough time?

I’m just wanting to get some thoughts. I’m currently planning to work until I’m 39 weeks pregnant. I do have the ability to sit down at work but I would be an hour away from my hospital.
