Do I add an Amazon gift list to my daughters birthday invitations?.

This is the first birthday I’ve ever planned and so I’m new at this! I thought it would be helpful for people who didn’t know ideas of what to get to make a little Amazon list! I just wasn’t sure if others do this? Do I just let people get what they please?

If your child has a need for certain things, do it. I absolutely think it takes the guess work out of what a kid likes. Some people want certain products for ethical or developmental reasons. Parents know their kid best. Unless it’s a keepsake or something, I’d definitely snag something off a registry. I’m here to help my friends and family, not gift them a problem or contribute to excessive waste.

I typically would not include it on an invitation. If people ask me what they would like, I will usually send them the link to the wish list, since they are asking me about what gift to get. I like to wait til someone asks.

No. We have an Amazon list for each kid that we update periodically. If someone asks for it (usually our moms), then we will share it, but otherwise we don’t.
