We have 'sling library's' in the UK where you can try and rent different ones? See if something similar exists where you are! The soft wraps are great for the early days and once you get used to tying them (use YouTube for help!) they are really easy- and machine washable!!!

I feel like all carriers have a purpose. This is what we have and use now my son is 9 months. I bought it at the thrift store so I didn’t pay $200 lol. We have the Moby wrap but It only worked for my husband because of my huge nursing boobs lol. The Tula ring sling is good now that my son is older and can hold his own head up but when he was a floppy newborn it didn’t work so well.

Wraps and carriers are like jeans. It's so individual what fits people and what they're comfortable with.
The absolute best thing you can do it try and find others in your area who might have some different types to try out. Seriously, very helpful!!
Having said that, I got this one. It's possible to adjust to many body types, it's soft and it can be used until toddler age. I absolutely love it! 😊
I also had a Hana Bamboo wrap for my first when she was newborn. Have a ring sling as well, but don't use it.

I haven’t used this one yet but just got it for my second and I look forward to using it when he gets here. It looks so much softer and more comfortable when the baby is tiny than the more structured carrier I had for my daughter. I had the Infantino Go Forward for her and I liked it since it can be used to front carry facing in and out as well as back carry when they get older.

We have a Moby wrap, an ergo, and a ring sling. They’re all great but for different purposes so it depends what you want it for. Ergo is great for long term wear and out of the house since it’s a bit bulkier. The ring sling is great for easy up and down with my toddler. The Moby was good for a little squishy young baby around the house because it was soft and easy to sit down with unlike the Ergo that has buckles on your back.
