I work at a small news station and am the lead anchor for our local show.

We have two reporters, one gets only sports story and the woman everything else.

She has a massive tendency to talk down to me and everything I saw, even down to a disagreement in favorite drinks, she will turn into a fight.

One day she cornered me infront of everyone and berated me for thing I never did, just things she didn’t want me to do, among other things.

My coworkers encouraged me to report her and I did to the manager. We sat and had a talk and 5 mins after entering his office she walked him, told him what I was saying was wrong, and told me to continue talking.

He kicked her out and apologized.

Two weeks later our boss and the manger sat me down, told me I was being extremely childish, as in the email I stated I no longer wished to interact with her aside from the “okay it’s done”, and that she was completely in the right and did nothing wrong.

I was forced to apologize for overreacting and she accepted, saying she didn’t realize how much I was working, I work 6 days a week, 9-10 hour days.

On Friday I saw she had finished a package complete and moved it into my show. She flipped out on me for “touching her stories” and that it “wasn’t done” and that I must’ve finished it because she never did.

She now is rereading her script to post online, I have not recorded the update with her stories, and is convinced all the typos are stuff I have done and that I completely rewrote it.

I have not touched ANYTHING.

She told me she she was rereading and noticed a lot of things didn’t make sense to she rewrote it but when I said oh I totally under, sometimes I won’t even realize I mistyped something until I’m on air and she just rolled her eyes.

It’s important to mention I am 23 and been here almost two years, she is in her 40s and was moved from a national anchor to a reporter, and has been here since mid December.

She has given me actual migraines cause I have no idea what to do concerning her.

I don’t know what to do. The only other station in our town is worse, in fact, people are quitting there to work here.

My boyfriend wants me to be smart and think it all through, but if I do decide to quit he would support me financially until I found another job, he makes twice what I do.

My family is admit I quit and work somewhere else, but the closest next station is an hour away from everyone.

Idk what to do anymore.
