boyfriends mom is ill. 😥

My boyfriends mom is very sick. She has MS. He dropped out of highschool at 15 to take care of her since his dad is a dead beat and is always in and out of his life. He's 18 now and all the weight is dropped of his shoulders. He has to pay 95% of the bills on his own and sometimes he can't afford to pay a bill so he's left without gas,cable,ect. Her MS is getting worse by the day. He manages to put a smile on his face but I can see the pain in his eyes when he talks about it. I get so upset cause I don't know what to say to him. I don't want to say things that he has heard a million times from people since his mom has been sick. I just hate that I can't help the person I love through it I always tell him I'm here if he needs ANYTHING cause I would do anything for him but I have no clue what to say when his telling me about his mom it's so sad but I don't want him to feel I'm not here or don't care for him.
