Does anyone else struggle with keeping the little one hush hush until the twelve week mark?

I’ve told all my family, closest friends and colleagues. I’ve had losses before and honestly it’s so much better to have people who know and understand if the worst happens. Suffering in silence is the worst pin of it all ❤️

My sister gets married next week, so I don’t want to tell my family because I don’t want to stress them out. I also have a 2 year old and a 5 month old, so I’m hoping that would keep them from guessing. I’m getting an ultrasound tomorrow, but they just think it’s a check up 🥴 I hope I can keep it silent at least until after my sister and her husband get back from their honeymoon. I’m excited, but it still doesn’t feel real. It will be much harder to conceal after an ultrasound!

I’m struggling more this time than last time. I was so wrought with worry last time that I was perfectly content keeping it a secret. This time I’m determined to stay positive and maybe that makes me more anxious to announce the good news? We will definitely wait until at least 12/13 weeks after the NT scan before we announce though - maybe longer depending on when my other pregnant friends announce (they are all FTMs and I really want to give them enough time to cherish their announcements before we do one ☺️).

Yes! I’ve already told my coworkers because if something happens and I need to take a few days. We are going it tell family earlier than that we did with our last two.

Yes we told close family and friends wont tell others till probably 16 20 week last one ended in a miscarriage and my aunt was a bitch about it

Only ones who know are my husband, and my boss. We are waiting for the 1st ultrasound.  It's so hard nit to say anything. I found out on 4th of July

With my first two I told them when I found out. This time I'm waiting till my first appointment. I want to wait till 12 weeks but we are afraid the 4 year old might spill the beans

We told friends and family right away but aren’t making a formal announcement until later. I would rather people know then not know, even after a previous loss.
