Late Period No Pregnancy

The last time I had sex was in May. I got my period in May and in June. I was supposed to get my period July 4th and it hasn’t come yet. I took a couple pregnancy tests, they’re negative. But I know “false negatives” can be a thing. When I went to the doctor (because I had extreme pelvic pain), they said it also came out negative but it wasn’t a blood test just another urine test in the ER. They couldn’t tell me what was wrong with me, just gave me pain medicine and told me to be on my way. I’m just trying to figure out what could make it so late since that’s not normal for me. Do I keep waiting it out, should I keep testing or make an appointment with the gyno?
