First time trying

Hi, everyone! My husband and I recently decided to start trying for our first baby. We started earlier this week. I’ve been keeping track of ovulation/fertile window days so we knew when to start trying. However, my sister in law gave me some very discouraging advice when she found out we were trying. Going on and on about how “even the healthiest women can’t get pregnant for at least a year” instead of just being happy for us.. she’s always negative about everything. I’m a huge over-thinker and that was the last thing I wanted to hear because that thought is in my mind already and I just want some positive vibes.

So, who all got pregnant their first month trying? I’m just looking for some encouraging stories to make me feel like it’s not impossible 🥺
