So I keep hearing you need to be ovulating to get pregnant it’s impossible to get pregnant not ovulating blah blah right. But I need to know is it you prob won’t or if u have sex 6-1 days bf your period U have no chance at being pregnant?? Ofc always use condoms so if U do that Ur pretty much perfectly safe right? Pls help ty

You would need to not have sex the 6 days leading up to ovulation as well as the day you ovulate and like 2 days after you ovulate. The only way to confirm ovulation is with bbt and that confirms it 3 days after you ovulate. Opks would give you an idea of when your body is getting close to ovulating. 
If you don't want to be pregnant use a birth control or condoms.
