Marginal Placenta Previa?

Question

Has anyone had a similar diagnosis and your placenta ended up moving on it's own?
I didn't have this with my first but I have heard of positive stories by 30ish weeks it moving and everything turning out fine.
I have a follow up ultrasound to see if it moved but if it didn't, I may have to have a c-section.
Looking for some encouragement 💕

My sister had it and it moved on it’s own! She was having a c-section anyway because of previous c-sections, but the placenta previa wasn’t an issue after some time had passed.

At 19+6 was told placenta is 1.4 cm away from cervix. Midwife didn’t seem very concerned and said it’s very likely to move further away given how much growing is left to do - baby was estimated to be 12 oz and will probably be almost 8lbs based on family history - there’s a lot of growing to do for that half a centimeter to be cleared.
Getting checked at 24 weeks, but that’s mostly because with having had COVID they’re already doing ultrasounds with each visit until birth.

I got diagnosed with complete placenta previa and hoping mine moves up too 😩 my 2 previous births were vaginal and I’m hoping to avoid a c section if possible. I have a scan next week but I also think it’s too early . stay positive praying yours moves up too!

Happened with my first. Likely to happen with my new third by the looks. With my first they had a scan at 34 weeks to check and it had moved :)

Most of them do if they're marginal. Do you know what grade it is? Not sure if they grade the marginal ones. That may make you feel better while looking at stats. I have complete previa and it's grade 4. I've had 2 homebirths and am really not looking forward to any chance of a c section. I found out at 20 weeks and won't get checked again until 28-30 weeks.

This happened with my second baby. They saw it at 20 weeks and then recheck by 26 weeks and it moved!!!
