When should my family come to town?

My family lives pretty far away, and we had planned for my parents and MIL to be here the week before and after my due date to watch my older daughter when we go to the hospital. Well I got checked last week at 36+5 and Dr says I'm 2 cm dilated and based on that and baby's growth she predicts I'll go into labor by 39 weeks, and she'll be very surprised if I make it to my due date.

Well now my parents' plan of coming on my due date and staying until I have the baby doesn't make much sense. They can stay for only about 2 weeks total, and they'd like to stay for a week after baby is born. MIL will be closer than usual visiting SIL next week (the week right before my due date) and she plans to come around Thursday if baby hasn't been born yet.

So what would you do?

If it's relevant - I've been having some mild false labor (more intense than Braxton Hicks) and achy, pms-like cramping for the past 2 days. With my older daughter, I had pms-like cramps for over a week, but no false labor.
