I have had two ultrasounds now. One at 8w1d and another at 12w1d the other day. Baby has a healthy heartbeat at both appointments. There was a weird dent on the head at my 8 week apt that I noticed once I was home and looking at pictures (I’ll insert it below) . My doctor hadn’t said anything at all about it at that appointment.

These are 8w1d measuring 8w4d.

On Wednesday I had my 12 week apt at 12w1d and was still measuring three days ahead and babies heart was perfect and it was moving around. The doctor was going super fast so it was a lot to try to soak up in just a couple minutes. At another angle I saw arms moving like they were boxing. But then he turned to a different angle to see babies heart and this is the one he took a picture of (the only pic he gave me this time) and the measurement. I noticed the head looks a like weird again. Ill insert It here.

I asked him if that was ok and he just quickly said oh yeah, at the 20 week anatomy scan is when you’ll really get a longer look at it. And that was the end of the appointment.

My mama heart needs some reassurance or advice. Does this look normal? Like the angle was weird and that’s just their brain and soft spot? My husband thinks I’m just worried so I haven’t scheduled an elective one yet. I have another scan at 14 weeks at a elective ultrasound place to try to see gender. But I won’t have another scan at my doctors until 20 weeks.
