Does it get easier??

My bf and I (22 and 20) are ldr across the country, literally CA to PA. It’s only been just over a week since we last saw each other and we both are having a hard time and miss each other. We are taking turns being the “shoulder to cry on” bc we miss each other so much, and I just need some reassurance that it gets at least a little easier?

I was in a LDR (New York/London) for 6 years. It was always hard, but we just found ways to make it work until we could be together permanently. Our #1 tip was not to leave a visit without having the next one booked. It always made it a little easier to leave if we knew when we’d see each other again.

Hi! Been in it for over 3 years now, and it does get easier. He’s in college in a different state. Over time you just get more adjusted to it and it becomes ‘normal’. I can’t tell you if it’s worth it or not, that’s up to you to decide. If you truly love him and see a future with him then absolutely, and if you believe he feels the same.
