Anyone get a vertical c section ?

Anyone get a vertical c section ? My last baby and first c section was 2004 I had bikini cut
I hear it’s quicker less bloody and easier and good for overweight plus size . I have a mommy tummy and overhang . It was hard with c section then because tummy covered cut and made it much more harder for care and healing ! 
I was curious if anyone has had the vertical cut few inches below navel and down to bikini line? Thanks

Vertical incisions are typically used for premature babies and for high risk/complicated deliveries. They’re much riskier for mom, such as an increased risk of uterine rupture later.

My mother had vertical C-section long ago and wouldn't recommend it, but since she already had that they used the same place when other abdominal surgery was needed.
I think they changed it from doing vertical C-section to usually doing it horizontally to not cause as much damage to your abdominal muscles. Having had complications might change what's best for you though so talk to your doctor.
