Going bk to work early?
Anyone gone back to work earlier than 6wks after csection? 10days pp. My husband and I have been on a rough patch for a long time. And now hes being financially abusive. I don't have any money to pay my bills, no money for my daughter's schools supplies or clothes and I'm stressed tf out. I work as a delivery driver for UPS so pretty physical. Lots of lifting, and in and out of the car. I'm a private contractor so no maternity benefits or anything. I'm thinking about going back to work next week, will bd 2wks pp. I'm wondering if anyone's done this, gone back to work (a physically demanding job) earlier than the 6wks , and how did it work out?
Edited to add:
Just to clarify, I'm an independent contractor so I don't need to be officially cleared by my doctor. It's like gig work like uber for example. You work through an app and you find a shift you're OK working and you accept it. Im also able to take my kids along if i need to because im a contractor and were allowed to have passengers. I don't report to anyone. But my plan was to just leave the littles with my husband. He's on paternity leave 😒 i figured he can watch the kids if he doesn't want to help me, i can go get it myself but I received the overall advice against it from everyone and appreciate it!
