I got my period Tuesday, 07/26/22. Normal period, nothing out of the ordinary. Just for fun, I took an ovulation and a pregnancy test on the 30th; the pregnancy test came back positive but vvvvfl. I did the same thing yesterday, the 31st, and today, the 1st. I’ve included screenshots of these tests down below. How is it possible that I had a full, normal period, AND my HCG tests are coming back positive, AND my ovulation tests are getting higher in their numbers?

Could the HCG tests be in accurate? I also took a cheap test from Walmart that also came back with a faint positive. I’m afraid to get my hopes up, because I had a MMC almost 6 months ago, and my husband & I have been trying for so long. In March, I got a couple positives on the 17th, but by the 20th they had gotten much fainter, and by the 22nd they were negative. So far for this round, the three tests appear to be the same in darkness, not getting darker yet but also not getting lighter. I took a test on 7/24/22 and it was negative.

Do you ladies have any advice or suggestions for me? I’ve just moved to a new town that’s not close enough to my current obgyn, so going to the doctor right now is not really a possibility yet.
