How likely is it that egg white cervical is mistaken?
I had what I think is egg-white cervical mucus this morning when wiping. It seems very early in my cycle as I don't ovulate usually until anywhere between CD17-21 (most commonly CD19) but I have noticed in past cycles I've had it around this time too (CD12) for a few days before it goes. Funnily enough I've never noticed it at the time I'm ovulating, which leads me to think I'm mistaking it? I know arousal fluid and semen can often confused with EWCM. My hubby and I BD'd yesterday PM so maybe it's that?
Is there any way of confirming EWCM? Or things to look for so I can distinguish between the different fluids?
I use ferning/ saliva based OPKs, bbt and often get ovulation cramping so I have confirmed my ovulation is later in my cycle.
TIA
