First time worries

Samantha

So I’ve never been pregnant before and I’ve wanted it for years.

I’m 42 in September so this is probably my only chance and I’m so happy.

I can’t get something out of my head though and it’s worrying me…..

A girl in the office got pregnant a few years ago but she found out it was an ectopic pregnancy.

She had to have an operation and they couldn’t save the embryo, they also had to remove her tube.

She said she would get free trials for IVF but she’s only 24 so she has time to try again.

Im just paranoid that it’s happened to me and I’m in the same boat….. although for me the option of IVF stops at 43 so if that’s the case I don’t know what I would do.

I haven’t even had a first scan yet as my first midwife phone call is in 2 weeks time so I guess I can talk to them about it then, but until then how do you put these thoughts out of your mind?
