I just got a belly button piercing today and it was a dumb decision because I have to go study abroad in 3 weeks. They told me not to remove it until 6 weeks. I want to be able to remove it so I can get through airport security and my family will be there too and will be so upset once they found out. It is my body and my choice. I am 21 years old but they are controlling. This honestly did not come to mind until after I got it done. Can I remove it within 2 weeks and put it back in after a few hours?
