Is it too soon for baby shower?

I'm due Feb 12th, but I want to have my babyshower the last Saturday in October. I want to have it before everyone gets busy with all of the holidays and the weather gets bad. (Where I live we get tons of snow, typically starting in November) I'd be 25 weeks. Is that too soon?!

I’m due Feb 4, and we were planning to do something in October to avoid conflicting with holiday plans. I’d rather have everything ready early than risk not having everything I need if baby comes early!

I was going to do mine a week after yours because in the U.K halloween is a big deal and people will just not turn up that weekend…

I’m doing it that same weekend too but on Sunday! I am so excited for it, I say GO FOR IT! It was your first choice and I’m sure you have a good gut feeling about it! I’m due Feb 3rd and I was stressing about having it in November so close to the holidays. But now that I’ve made that decision it feels great couldn’t be any happier! I think that’s perfectly fine to have the baby shower then. You’ll also still have enough energy to make it through. My biggest problem with my baby shower for my first was that it was only a month before I was due and I was already so big, and so tired. It was a struggle. I had to keep stopping to take a breath. Took me forever to open gifts because it was just a lot of work for me. Definitely do it earlier than later!

I don’t think so! I’ve been thinking about that too because I’m due February 6 and late November and all of December is just hard in general. Do it when you feel comfortable!

I don’t feel like it’s too soon! We did my last one at 32 weeks and I was already miserable. I would have much rather done it earlier to enjoy the whole thing than struggling to move around because of my back! Do whatever makes you happy!!
