Bites on my toddlers neck, what is this?

We have been outside a lot and I have these bumps too. They are on my ankles mostly. They seem to be mosquito bites and look like this until I accidentally scratch it and the itching gets activated.

These bites don’t seem to bother him at all. I’m so worried that these are bed bug bites because why would mosquitos bite like this so many times in one area? I checked for them and didn’t find anything. It seems so excessive and he seems to be getting more of them over time. I’ve had this same thing on my body and I know it was mosquitos but on the neck seems weird to me. His ear is red because he was sleeping on it.
