Why do people have sex?

This may be a silly question, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. I mean what about sex makes it so universal? Does it just stem from our biological urge to survive and reproduce or has it become something more? Why does sex make us feel good and connected to the other person?

Some is biologically and another is that you have a lot of sensitive nerves down there. We have 8,000 nerves in our clit.
So it’s a mix of pleasure and what our body wants. It’s also another way to just connect with our partners in the most vulnerable way
