Whatever infant seat you use, make sure it’s flame retardant free. Flame retardants are linked to cancer, brain development issues, lower IQ, and a whole plethora of issues so they do not belong on ANY baby products. All car seats must pass certain flammability regulations whether or not they use flame retardants, so it’s definitely in your baby’s best interest to avoid them at all cost. 
Nuna Pipa is the safest option in every category and I’m a huge fan of the company in general, but there are a few other safe options, including: Clek Liing (in the mammoth fabric only), Britax B-Safe in the SafeWash fabric only, Uppababy Mesa in the Jordan or Henry fabric, MaxiCosi with the PureCosi fabric, and Chicco Keyfit in the ClearTex fabric only.

I got this and am about to use it with my second baby, works great and held up very nicely. It still looks brand new even after a couple of washes!

I bought the whole travel system but this is the seat that came with it. I’m currently using it with my third baby. It’s super light weight and has held up great. Also super affordable.
