Whats a co buyer and should i use it?

So im getting a car delivered to me at my house from carmqx… but the thing is i dont habe my license yet.. im working on it but i need a car asap and will buy it but can i use my husbands drivers license and of course him driving it to get it delivered?? And do i put him as a co buyer or no? Im basically going to pay it monthly and put the down payment on it itll be under my name and etc but … i just want to use his license to get it ? How do i do it?

Do they know that you do not have a drivers license, because really they’re not supposed to sell you a car without a license technically. They may make him be a co-buyer like you’re saying or a cosigner, which than the vehicle will be in his name and your name as well as the debt. You need to talk to the dealership and let them know that you do not have a drivers license, and see what they say. I would work on getting the drivers license before you get the vehicle in all honesty. And that way you don’t have to deal with any of this mess it will just be in your name and not have to have him as a cosigner or have his name on the vehicle. ￼

How will getting the car before you have your license help? You won’t be able to drive it. Your husband will likely need to buy the vehicle with you and most places you cannot buy a car with no license.
