Is there something that repels fleas from your skin?

Please give me all the tips to get rid of fleas. My house is infested. I have treated my dogs. 
I am going to wash all linens and tape them shut into trash bags. Going to put all stuffed animals and pillows into bags as well not sure how I can wash those though as there are MANY. 
Going to vacuum and mop as well as treat the house and yard. Idk how to clean my carpet or my couches though. 
I’m so stressed out by this. Im very pregnant and I have no energy as it is. 
I see them jump on us when we are just trying to relax in the house. 
My toddler is getting bit by them a lot and it’s breaking my heart. I feel like such a bad mom. I feel like I should have noticed the dogs scratching more and get it taken care of before my house got this bad. It seemed like it just snuck up on us! I noticed a few bites on my toddler and thought, that sure looks like flea bites and sure enough the next day I saw them on the dogs and then eventually saw them in the house. 
Does anyone know of any topical thing I can put on him that repels them? Maybe a scent they hate? Idk. Please let me know if you have ideas. I’m very close to staying at my moms house while I go back and clean so they don’t get bit anymore.

Vet tech here. What have you treated the dogs with? 
Only ways to get rid of them is to vacuum vacuum vacuum, take the bag or container outside and dump. Wash everything you can in hot water and high heat.

You’re not a bad mom, it happens. But now you know how to prevent it in the future… for now ￼You need to bomb your whole house. Go to Home Depot and get one bomb for each room and go spend the day somewhere else with your kids. ￼ After you are done bombing, then you can wash all of the laundry in hot water. ￼The stuffed animals, just get rid of most of them except the ones that are special to your child and wash those ones in hot water. ￼There is also a special spray you can get from the vet for upholstery, which I highly recommend to have on hand anyway even if you get rid of the fleas this time￼. ￼When you treat your animals, make sure you are using an indoor/outdoor flea treatment from the vet (not the pet store)￼, such as Revolution. Do not treat them inside the house. Leave them outside for most of the day when you treat them￼ in case fleas are jumping off￼. And make sure that you keep up with their flea treatment regularly. Otherwise you will find yourself in this predicament again. I have not heard of anything topical that you can put on skin to repel fleas. But once you do all of this, you won’t have to worry anymore.

Our entire neighborhood got infested from a horrible renter. Luckily the house is now bought and lived in by a responsible home owner. Our house was infested. Here's how we treated it. First you NEED to get pest control out to spray your house literally every single week for a month. The next month every 2 weeks. After that once a month. Have them treat the couch for you. You need to wash everything in HOT water. Vacuume every single day and take the canister out to the curb, do NOT throw it away in the house trash. Wash your animals the day before treating. After you treat if you can tollerate it then use a flea collars as well. I can't do flea collars since I'm allergic. If you can catch a flea then KILL it. You have to be on it about cleaning. I highly suggest getting fresh lavender to have in the house as well as a high quality lavender essential oil. Mix the essential oil in a spray bottle with water and spray on all fabircs. Fleas hate lavender.

What worked the best for us was to treat our dog with trifexis. Our townhome was infested when we bought it and had no idea. Didn’t have a dog, but got one and treated him, within two weeks all the fleas were gone, no bug bombs needed. Keep the bug bombs away, especially since you’re pregnant. Also remember to treat your yard.

My moms cats had fleas so bad and couldn’t get rid of them until we got this all natural flea spray that smelled like … pine I do believe . Sprayed it on all the furniture and they were gone

You should get them on a flea and tick medication from the vet after you treat the entire house.
