White patches on tonsils???

Question

Anyone know what this could be?? It doesn’t hurt, but it is uncomfortable because it’s swollen so i can definitely feel the swelling on that side & my ear is starting to feel weird too. As you can see the other side is normal, its only that side that is inflamed with those white patches. I’m making an appointment tomorrow morning😭but i just want to know

That looks like it could be tonsil stones.

Tonsillitis, or strep. Definitely see a doc before the pain starts! Or they could be tonsil stones, they just cause bad breath

Looks like puss pockets. Mine would get this way when I had chronic mono and I ended up getting them removed. Fortunately, most of the time this is something simple like strep or even a mild virus. You can try gargling with warm salt water to ease any discomfort, but get to the doc ASAP for a strep test😊

This was my main symptom with covid the first time- sore, and later, infected tonsils. When I went in to urgent care for a UTI and another test, my tonsils had this. They said it was pus. It took a long round of antibiotics to get rid of
