Out of state move

If you used a Uhaul truck to move to another state were you able to return the truck in the new state or did you have to go all the way back to the state you got it from and return it there?

I’m from South Carolina and moved to Georgia a few months ago, 3 hours away. I’m finally able to get my things out of storage in SC. 3 hours may not seem like much but if I have to return the truck in South Carolina I would have to go to SC, back to GA to unload, back to SC to return the truck then back home to GA which would add up to 12+hours of driving.
