Anyone try Zoloft?

I am dealing with anxiety and depression and was given this by a psychiatrist I just started seeing. She also is having me go to therapy. I’m really scared of side effects and stuff but I need relief!! Should o wait and see how therapy works ? Or give meds a try

Give meds a try, I did Zoloft , it took about 2-4 weeks to get adjusted and settled and felt 100% better .

Both. Just know it takes time for the meds to work and they may make you feel sick the first week. Just push through.

I do both therapy along with Zoloft for anxiety and depression. I've had good experiences with Zoloft in the past as opposed to other antidepressants, it's all going to depend on how your body reacts to it. It may or may not work for you, but there is side effects in the beginning but not terrible in my opinion because I seriously needed to try something to help along with the therapy! Good luck!

You can always wait if that’s what makes you comfortable. I did take Zoloft and it made me a zombie, but all meds work differently for different people. I now will not take meds after a bad experience and I only go to therapy and it’s worked beautifully for me. I have bad agoraphobia but I finally have my life back
