Gestational diabetes?

So, I did my 1 hour glucose test yesterday. I fasted for about 16 hours. My nurse told me I could eat before the test but I decided not to. My result was 131 with a cutoff of 135. I feel like my result is high and maybe I should do the 3 hour glucose test. I already went over the results with my nurse and she said my result was good. I can’t help but think that it’s high with fasting. Can anyone give me any insight on this?

If you did the 1 hour test where you drink the stuff and they check your levels 1 hour later and your result was 131 you passed and you don’t need to do the 3 hour test. The 3 hour test Is brutal and I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t have to.

I was told the cutoff was 14 hours. Could it just be you fasted too long?

Yeah 131 is definitely high for fasting and you should be checked again. I’d follow up ❤️
