Concussion?

So parents I need help.

It’s midnight I’m still freaking out. My 3 year old was on my older sons hoverboard, he laid on it and was guiding it with his legs. ( it wasn’t going fast at all ) he’s pretty good at controlling and stopping it. Anyway him and my older son were playing with it and my 3 year old slammed into the wall pretty hard and hit his head really hard.

I was expecting a really long cry, but he cried for a few seconds and kept jumping and going wild again with his brother. For the next hour and a half later they were still playing and hyper and nothing out of the ordinary so I didn’t think of concussion till my MIL started freaking out about it. I really thought everything was okay just bc he wasn’t acting any different!

My son went to bed like normal but after what my MIL said I keep going in there to check if he’s okay because I know they say to never let someone go to sleep with a concussion… but like, I don’t even know if he has one. My partner thinks he’ll be okay but I’m now worried sick. I’m scared to fall asleep. Am I over reacting?

What would symptoms usually be if he was to of had one? Like I said he cries for a few seconds and was back to normal hyper and playing again. He went to bed normally also.. 😭
