Are there any parents of multi-lingual raised babies in this group? Is your June-baby already saying some words? Do you do anything special to make sure your baby picks up words easily?

We are raising our baby bilingual with a little bit of english (my boyfriend only speaks his native language with our baby, I only talk mine and the two of us speak english).

He said today his first word (he said 'more' in my boyfriends language. Besides the random sound which sounded like a word, he doesn't say any words). I am not worried, but noticed that we didn't put any focus on his language skills and am trying to change it. We read every day.

Do you have any tips or would it just put too much pressure on him if we focused on teaching him? He will start kindergarden next month, so maybe it will be enough teaching there? I think I am just impatient for him to start talking :D He babbles alllll day long though.
