Preeclampsia Question

I have a high creatine level (blood test), not urine, not out of range just in the higher end due to a passing stone that put some stress on the kidney. Maybe I’m misunderstanding but I know there’s association between high creatine level and preeclampsia. So, can the issue with my kidney/creatine level cause preeclampsia? Or is it the other way? Preeclampsia can cause high creatine levels?
