Ttc after IUD stopping periods

So my first birth control I used was the kylena iud, loved it. My periods were lighter, but still kept my regular cycle, so when I got it removed for my first pregnancy I was easily able to track and plan ovulation. We got pregnant right away. After baby number one I got an iud again, this time mirena and my periods have all but gone away. So I don’t know my schedule at all. Any tips for figuring out getting pregnant without having any schedule? My doctor said my period should be back to normal within three months, but in the mean time how do I plan BBDing, etc. would taking daily ovulation tests be helpful?
