Does your little one wear underwear for nap/stay dry?

My son starts at a daycare this fall and one of the requirements is that he has to be fully potty trained. He’s been wearing underwear all day for several months now (no problems there) but he still wears pull ups during nap time. He never soaks a diaper during his nap- usually it’s just a tiny bit wet. But I just found out pull ups are not allowed for nap 😬 how do I train him to not pee during nap!?!?

He will get the hang of it and most schools help the little ones if they have an accident etc, I would just start with the transition at home and explain to him why.

You just have to do it. Having the pull up there gives him security tray he can pee without it good chance he won’t pee or if he does oh well not that serious he will learn eventually but he won’t learn if he has the pull up on .

We ditched the diapers at nap like 2 months after potty training. She still wears them at night. 
She has only had one accident, and it was when I wasn’t home (I think she was protesting)
Just make sure they take him to the bathroom before nap time. (Sure they do)

Thank you! I guess I was just waiting for him to wake up dry more often and didn’t realize we should just go for it! Hopefully the next few weeks will be good practice at home!
