Did I ovulate late?

So me and my partner decided we were ready to try for baby #2, but not to put any pressure on ourselves as I'm still 5 months PP and finding time to make the baby can be hard! We DTD once, now 7 days ago, but I wasn't in my ovulation peek, so I thought nothing would happen. I took an opk and it read negative. For 2 days I passed brown egg white type discharge, there was 2 tiny spots of blood, then it stopped. I have missed my period now by 3 days, but my tests are reading negative still as obviously it would be too early to tell I just thought I'd rule out pregnancy that might of occurred before. Has anyone else had this happen? I feel abit lost 😕
