Allergy testing on toddler
Went to the doctor recently and was discussing my 18 month olds eczema and how bad it is and she offered to give us a referral to an allergist to get testing done to see if we can find what helps trigger her eczema and reduce her exposure.
Pediatrician basically told me they’re probably going to do a prick test because it’s more accurate and she’s too young for the other allergy testing.
Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this with a toddler. And how it went for them. The whole thing sounds unpleasant as I can’t imagine a toddler being okay with getting pricked a bunch of times.
