How to clean ears on baby?

I know ear wax is normal but my girl seems to have a lot of it. It’s orange and pretty gross looking. Is there anything I can do to clean it up a bit? Im really nervous to use a q tip in such tiny ears (hell I’m nervous to use them in my own ears lol)

My son is 3 now but he has always had ridiculously large amounts of wax in his ears. I’ve always used a warm washcloth after a bath to keep the visible area of his ears clean, I don’t feel comfortable sticking things in his ears. He was always shoving his fingers in his ears though and he used to get frequent ear infections as a baby, so I looked in one with an otoscope one day and holy crap there was literally a wall of thick, hard wax across his ear canal. Couldn’t see any part of his eardrum. I took him to the doctor to get it removed and he’s been back to have his ears professionally cleaned 2 other times, at 6 month intervals.

There a special baby q tips but u just put the tip in , my baby boy it always comes out yellow as heck I’m like damn 😂

This is tough....there are loads of tools out there designed for baby, but tbh, none of them are worth a crap. I've tried them all.
After complaining to my pediatrician and showing him the enormous amount of was in my newborns ears, he leveled with me and told me....."really, the Qtip is the best way". Then he showed me how to do it. He also told me to do it every other day to avoid impacting the wax. 
My suggestion is to ask your Dr to show you how to remove it.

I wait til after I give her a bath so they are easier to clean & I use just the very end and just do the edge of her ear do not put it in her ear. You can also use a wet washcloth. My girl has lots of ear wax lol
