Is it okay to put car seat base in car 3 weeks before induction date?

Or should I just wait until the day before?

I have the car seat installed already as of about a month or two ago lol I’m not due for another 8 weeks. I washed it so to keep it clean and out of the way I just installed it.

I would wait; depending on the car seat/base, if you’re in an accident then you’ll need to replace it (and not all insurance companies pay to replace)

I did with my first but this time I am waiting until the night before, which is Thursday night, especially since we know what we are doing this time and can get it in I just a few minutes. Even if I were to go into labor we would have to wait almost an hour for someone to get here to stay with my daughter before we could leave.  Just if we unfortunately in an accident we would have to replace the base along with my daughters car seat.

As long as it’s just the base. Just in case of an accident don’t have the seat itself in. You’d be better off to have to only replace the base vs a whole new setup! Just because your scheduled for induction doesn’t mean baby will stay out! These little ones have their own timeline lol.
