My dad almost put his hands on me

I am 22 with a two year old daughter temporarily staying with my parents and my dad raised his fist at me and smacked my arm, my husband is coming for us this afternoon… I was supposed to stay another two weeks before I left cause I was working.. now I need to quit so suddenly after I just put my two weeks in.. maybe this is a dumb question but how do I tell my job that I’m not coming back?
