How faint this is makes me nervous as I had a chemical 2 months ago and was getting lots of faint lines before I started bleeding (was 12dpo when I got the first faint line) . Should I not get my hope up again?

This is normal for 9DPO, all tests will start out faint if you’re testing early. It’s too soon to tell if it’s a chemical. Even if the test gets super dark you can still end up having a chemical unfortunately.. the darkness of the test doesn’t determine viability. It just tells you if you’re pregnant or not

I completely understand. I’ve had losses as well & I know it’s nerve wracking, but in the end it only stresses you out more! Just got to try to stay positive

Thank you, I’m just worried as I keep having recurrent miscarriages. This will be my 3rd pregnancy this year. But thank you for the information 😊

How early are you? Faint lines are to be expected early on, especially if it is before your expected period. Best of luck!

Okay, I wouldn’t fret about it being so light. HCG differs person to person so not everyone’s tests will look the same in early pregnancy.
