First Doctor Appointment

Hi ladies! I just found out im pregnant, but I am in between insurances right now. My new insurance through my work starts in October. I will be 13-14 weeks at that time. I can’t afford to pay out of pocket right now for any doctors visits. Is it safe to wait that long for the first appointment? To do blood work and ultrasounds, etc? I did have a miscarriage several months ago, but this is my first pregnancy that has lasted this long so I don’t know what’s okay and what isn’t. I already tried to get Medicaid but my household income is too high so that’s not an option.
