I’ve been TTC for a year so I’ve just had some initial testing done… I have very irregular periods with usually quite long cycles (between 35 and 50 days long). I had a blood test 2 weeks ago and the results said that my LH was at 7 and no other levels suggested I was ovulating so my GP sent me off for another one a week later which I’m about to get results for this Saturday. I also had an internal ultrasound yesterday and the gyno said everything looks good and that she thinks I have just ovulated in the last two-three days and that I should get my period 2 weeks from yesterday. BUTTTT my period shows up today…. Two weeks since I had my blood test. WTF is going on? Anyone have any ideas?

I’m going to see my GP this Saturday and going to be asking if I can start Clomid as the gyno said it might help regulate my ovulation as there is a chance I’m not ovulating every cycle. My ovaries don’t appear polycystic either so not sure what’s going on here
