I hate my mother in law. 3 months ago, my husband and I had lunch with her and she mentioned something about his uncle coming over 3 weeks after our baby is born. I just sort of nodded, but my husband mentioned that he would be back at work and I would be recovering from birth, plus the fact that our daughter will only be 3 weeks old. He mentioned that it would be better if his uncle visited us over the summer. My mil said okay and that she would talk to them and we moved on. We just received a Christmas card from them in the mail saying that they will come visit 3 weeks after baby is born, meaning my mil never told them anything. In fact, in the letter they mentioned that the mil confirmed with them that they are invited.
