Advice wanted about anul

After having a baby I got haemorrhoids and after each pregnancy they’ve got worse and always bleed after going to the toilet so me and my partner haven’t done anul since having children but he loves anul and I know he misses it so is it safe to have anul sex or is it a no go?

If it is possible is there anything I can do to help? I’m keeping an eye on my diet I’ve looked at water based lubes and would use a butt plug before we try to try and help.
