Sooo. There’s a whole list of things that are bugging me about my MIL. My baby is 12 weeks old now. He is my first child and I’m not sure if I’m being dramatic or not.

She has really long nails and he always ends up with scratches on him when she’s held him or played with him etc. She’s very heavy handed and chucks him about like not gentle. Even when putting his pacifier in she shoves it in hard even when he is pushing it away. And the biggest big bear is every time she goes to give him his pacifier she always sucks it first 🤢 like wtf??? I’ve tried to ask her not to as it’s not hygienic it makes me wanna throw up. How do I get her to stop these things without being mean?? Please help, I don’t want to cause a rift between us but I don’t think it’s fair on my baby or am I being dramatic??

Also she tries to boss me around and tell me how to look after him, saying I should wean him early and do this and do that. Even when I explain that my health visitor specifically told me not to do those things.
