Does anxiety make your arms numb?

My arms feel kind of numb and very weak I feel like I can’t even type this right now and my shoulder blades are killing me right now I’m also having anxiety so idk if it’s because of that

It could be anxiety, panic attack, it could be nerve damage, from your neck, or a muscle spasm in your back, it could be a number of things. But try some thing. Take some deep breath‘s, I want you to do an exercise for me. It’s the 54321 method. Close your eyes, and I want you to take some deep breath‘s, and you’re going to start naming five things that you can see around you, for things that you can hear around you, three things that you can feel, two things that you can smell, and one thing that you can taste. The point of the exercise is to center you and bring you back to reality, to help you gain control, and to call me down. By controlling the things around you that you have access to, and just keep repeating over and over until you get centered. If this continues, I would absolutely go and get checked out by an orthopedic or a neurologist if it is indeed from If It is psychological, I would visit your mental therapist, have some sessions, and get some medication, perhaps she can teach her different coping mechanisms, bio feedback, yoga, meditation, listening to soothing music, etc.

It can. If you are really tense, the nerves in your shoulder can get slightly pinched and cause numbness/tingling. That happens to me on my left side. I would advise you to speak to your doctor though in case it is something else (and to get help with your anxiety).
