What type of delivery did you have with gestational diabetes

Hi I’m 33 weeks pregnant I had a growth scan today and baby is measuring big I also have Gestational diabetes and the midwife mentioned when we discuss my induction date on Friday (for probably between 37&38 weeks) an elected section may also be discussed. . . What did you guys get?

With my first I was induced at 39 weeks. He ended up being 9lbs 9.6oz. He needed forceps due to his size but that wasn’t a big deal. This time I’ll be having a sweep at 37 weeks to hopefully get things moving. I’m due sept 28th but my Dr says I’ll have her before the 19th.

My first I was induced at 38w5d, but complications lead to emergency section.
This second one so far I’m planning a section… really hoping it goes as planned/scheduled

I have gestational diabetes I was supposed to be induced Thursday 37 weeks but baby has turned so I asked the dr if we could wait till 38 weeks to see if baby would go bk head down I've had all my kids vaginally so I really don't want a c section but if he doesn't move I'll have no choice but at least I'll know I waited a little longer dr said he won't let me pass 38 weeks since I have other complications

I was induced on my d day but was vaginal with no issues. He’s now 5, almost 6, and is perfectly healthy 😁
