Hey I was diagnosed with herpes type 1 in my vaginal area 6 weeks ago . My herpes outbreak was near my urethra super painful and inside my vaginal canal . They gave me medication that I took and I was feeling better however my vagina area near my urethra has still been looking kinda red but doesn’t hurt . Well Today when I peed it burned a bit which is concerning and it’s looking super red . Also I’ve tried to have sex a few times since the 4th week of being “better” and it hurts so bad still I’m not understanding why?? I’m just so distraught and feel like my vagina will never feel back to normal . Has this happened to anyone ?
